Gaming Pokemon Transfer

Hi i was wondering if there's is a way to transfer Pokemon between gen 3 to 4 using twilight menu slot2 on a 3DS console, that's one of the first transfer i want to do. Second, gen 4 to 5 using r4 on 2 3DS consoles, or using twilight, and use the download play app on 3DS menu, and use the Transfer Lab. I know i can do all this with PkHex but i want to do it this way so is more sort of "legal". I know that @zaksabeast made compatible Pokemon Black and White 2 for Poke Transporter App. So there's a way to transfer pokemon with any method mentioned before? Thanks in advance!

I don't know about Gen3, but you can transfer HeartGold/SoulSilver pkmn forward by using Checkpoint save manager and PKHEX.

Just backup your 2 game saves using checkpoint, and then move the PKMN files over to the new save using PKHEX.

just pkhex, extract out the file from gen 3, load up the gen 4 game in pkhex, throw the gen 3 file into pkhex. it will auto update to gen 4 for you

If you have access to the save files, just use PKHex to do all of your migrations.
