ROM Hack pokemon SS map dissapear?

im in violet city, just got first badge, and now my map isnt in my pokegear.
i searched up online other people are having the same problem, something to do with some cheat thing i must of used.

it says i can get it back if i go to olivia city. but again, i have no map, so i have no idea where to get there.

what should i do?? is there a cheat to get the map back? can i put it on my sd card without losing all the cheats i have now or will it replace them?

or how do i get to olivia city

restart your game without cheats then.

You can get it back with pokesav

This has happened to me before as well, as such you used a cheat that interferes with the story and knocks out your map function.
You can try pokesav or restart like i had too.

What cheats have you used recently?

but if you can't answer that then start a new game with no cheats.

there is a website somewhere that tests cheats for games and it tells you whether there is a chance they can stuff your game

Apparently you cannot use the current version of pokesav to edit your pokegear after all.
Sorry - I told you wrong.
There is a Pokegear item in HG/SS pokesav , but the Edit button is greyed out!
Lots of other things are greyed out also: Accessories, Seals, Poffin, Pal Park, Events,
Pokedex, Rival's Name (this is the only thing I remembered), Record System Edit, ...
I hope someone is working on this.

You most likely used something like Walk Through Walls, which breaks the story and possibly removed your map too. Start a new game and don't use any wall hacks.
