Homebrew Pokemon Silver/Gold/Crystal Saving help

I am using LameboyDS 0.11 and my pokemon games won't save......well they say they save, and the .SAV file appears in my lameboy folder. When I boot the game, it gives me 2 options. NEW GAME and OPTIONS
