really man! even i tried to patch it doesn't work. i think grovyle must remove that readme thing
im angry i cant play something which i've helped in

hey people i found a way to make this work.
first download the patch 0.3.1 extract the apply patch.bat ONLY into a folder
then download 0.4 and extract xdelta.exe and pmdeos_patch.diff into the same folder.
then put an untrimmed rom into apply patch.exe (open apply patch.bat and type the name of the rom or drag the rom and type its name)
Your DONE!

I've tried it but the rom is 0kb big so it doesn't work.

I keep trying to apply the patch, but no matter what I do I keep getting:

xdelta is in the same directory as the batch file and the game.

EDIT:
I think there's something wrong with the xdelta.exe that comes with the 0.4 update. I moved the diff file to the 0.3.1 folder, ran Apply Batch.bat directly and it worked. Did the same with the xdelta.exe from the 0.4 update and it couldn't be found.

Anyways guys tell me if there's anything else left to be translated, I'd be glad to do it. Everything I did took like about an hour and that's just because I had to type out everything, it was a pretty instant translation tho.

ok folks!
i have extracted this file from the patched version of 0.4
to get this to work you need
1. NitroExplorer (google search for the download)
2. download this TEXT_J.str(0.4) or BONUS:Download updated j_script (Lots of more things translated) or Even more updated j_text.str
and extract it
open PMD 2 with NitroExplorer. next select MESSAGE and you have 2 files one of them is text_j.str . now on the top there's a button Reinsert click on it and select the text_j.str which you extracted.

Ehh, if I drag the rom onto the .dat, it opens, and immediately closes. And if I try what the readme says, by opening the .dat, then typing the file name, it closes when I type anything.

why do you think i've uploaded text_j.str ?????????
for those having problems with the apply patch.bat (and also text-j.str is updated)
for procedures to install this text into PMd check the post above
