why spend all the trouble getting an event pokemon to unlock an event where you could
-hack for the event pokemon
-hack for the item

Yea probaly but the Red chain never did anything even thoe u had to use AR to get it but never ever did anything

The Red Chain was used by the Team Galactic leader in order to control the three legendary lake spirits to open the dark dimension.

The item was originally planned to be found by the player and given to someone else but the interaction was taken out of the game, the code for the item still exists however.
