i found a patch for no$gba, i havent tested it myself, nor do i use no$gba im just trying to help the cause plz post replies to see if it works.

I can confirm replacing the 01410000 string with 02260344 with break the menu so you cannot hit start to play the game. Running v1.18 Firmware R4DS.

I've replaced the arm7.bin file and have had no problems thus far...

like is it a 1 out of 100 chance that the game will freeze itself?

random freezing, increases with every badge you get. beware after getting your 3rd badge.

well then someone should erase the 3rd badge from the ROM.... get it again and see what codes come up and one should be the AP?

AP doesnt show up as a file in the rom if you unpack it. its in the hex adresses(?)

I am working doing it now, I am just gettin distracted because my little brother is watching old episodes of pokemon on Cartoon network, with it failing for 2 people should I even continue trying or call this effort a lost cause

I have replaced all occurencies of 0410000C with 02260344. The Game still hangs after so many area changes. This was tested on Desmume 0.9.4 x86 dev. The last read was 02260344.

It doesn't matter, it seems to break the start screen anyway.

Can anyone tell me what both of those values mean?
