A Pokémon Black Version hack!​

NOTE: This is NOT a continuation of Ethan! It's Red!

INTRODUCTION:
-----------------------------------------------
Whatever happened to Red after he was done training in Mt. Silver? He couldn't have stayed there forever. I will tell you, through a new game! This W.I.P. hack will create an entirely new game for you to play! Blue/Green has a poll open to change his name from Gary to either Blue or Green. You just have to vote! Leaf is also included, and you might think "Well Red and Leaf never really meet" But then what do I do with Bianca? After Mt. Silver, Red met Leaf. That's what this game assumes. This game takes place after Pokémon Black Version (Assuming Black Version is after HG/SS), and it does NOT have anything to do with Ethan! It plays by Red's story. But Ethan will probably be mentioned in the game, though.​

STORY:​

Red finishes training on Mt. Silver and decides to take on a new challenge to become an even better Trainer, so he travels to the Unova Region. Gary, who had been his rival during his adventures through Kanto, accompanies Red, hoping he too can become stronger and even defeat Red. Leaf, who is also a friend of Red's, worries for him and decides to also come along. Leaf's Father and Sister rent a house on Nuvema Town, and so do Gary's parents. Luckily for Red, his aunt lives in Nuvema Town. They come to Unova without their Pokémon, to start a fresh, new, and challenging journey. The local professor of the town, Professor Juniper, sees the good Trainer in them and decides to give them each a Unova Starter Pokémon. Red, Leaf, and Gary take off to Accumula Town, where they run into Team Plasma. A mysterious Plasma Knight named "Ridley" then approaches Red and attempts to steal his Pokémon!​

WHY YOU SHOULD PLAY:​

Pokémon FireRed Version 2 brings an entirely new experience to the table. It brings out a new story to unveil, new secrets to discover, and a much higher level of difficulty. It will take a lot of training and strategy to defeat the many challengers you will face. Meet past characters, like Gary, Leaf, Brendan, and Misty. Meet new characters as well, such as the mysterious Plasma Knight Ridley, the Gym Leader Trio Maroon, Cyan, and Lime, and the anonymous trainer hiding out at Undella Town....​

If you want challenger, a vivid story, meet past characters, and continue Trainer Red's story, Pokémon FireRed Version 2 is just for you!​

Creating sprites to be used in-game, such as overworld sprites, back sprites, trainer sprites, mugshots, etc.​

They don't have to be from scratch, they can also be edits, but should look reasonanly good.

- Internal Developers
Editing Internal things, such as the gender selection sprites, the C-Gear sprites, Trainer card, etc.

- Music Developers​

Getting music working properly so it can be inserted into the game to a specific theme.​

Q: Will this include the ROM file?
A: No, giving a ROM file would be illegal.
Q: What if I want to play as a female?
A: The game won't glitch, but it's not supposed to be that way.
You are supposed to play as Red (Male Hero)
Q: What will this hack replace?
A: Characters, Music, Pokémon, Dialogue, you name it. Like
a whole new game!
Q: Are you making major changes? (e.g. Team Plasma is Team Rocket)
A: No, Unova Region will remain Unova. This is a sequel to FireRed
that occurs in between B/W 1 and 2 and is played out by Red.​

Q: Are you making move, evolution, etc. changes?​

A: Probably not, since I am still learning how to do these things, unless someone​

who can wises to help.​

Q: Gary is Blue/Green!!​

A: It's your decision. There is a poll to decide what his name will be.​

Q: But Leaf never meets Red!​

A: I know, but then who would take Bianca's place? This isn't an official game,​

you know. Red met Leaf after Mt. Silver. That's what this game assumes.​

Q: Why are there no Kanto Starter Pokémon?​

Since this IS a sequel, obviously Red already got his Kanto Starter Pokémon.​

He just left them home to "start a new journey" and become stronger.​

I'd actually say that you cause more arguments naming him Gary, as that's what gets people hot in the head, not many people actually care whether you call him Blue or Green, since those are both his name.

It's still Unova. Red visited Unova in order to *Read Story Section*

Pokemon will still be Unova, but I MIGHT edit some of the later pokemon (After you defeat ghetsis)

Liking the idea but for the Team Plasma bit, I understand they're going to be the antagonists of the plot but I reckon the story plot with them should change. Like it's too generic and repetitive after plaing Black and White hacks with the same storyline as the original, if you get what I mean?

Overall, great idea! I expect a great quality hack!

Looks great so far! Did you make the sprites yourself?
Oh and a good idea could be to replace the wild + Trainer's Pokemon with a mixture of Kanto Pokemon and Unova Pokemon? So it wouldn't be exactly the same as the originals.
