I hacked an oled switch from start to finish ,20.5.0 firmware, Atmosphere (1.9.5)
installed a 512gb microsd card kingston
used the files pack from here https://sthetix.info/hats/releases/

all games seem to work, Metroid dread works if i install only the base game
but if i install the 2.1.0 update the game crashes when launching it.

i first thought it was a bad nsp file, so i downloaded other files from other sites and got the very same problem.

does anyone else have the same problem where Metroid dread crashes if the update is installed? is there any workaround?

Currently experiencing the same issue, did you manage to find a fix?
Tested both version, so far it works perfect.
First installed base, run it till menu.

Then updated to 2.1.0 and also works.
Both installed with Awoo Installer.

Just in case, re-download from other pages (** ehem)

Finally got it to work by using DBI to install it. Installing through Goldleaf or Awoo was causing the "unable to start software" error. Very weird. Thanks though!
