This problem happen when you try to connect a Pokémon Diamond/Pearl with Wii (with Pokémon Battle Revolution and Pokémon Ranch).

When you go to menu in Pokémon Diamond/Pearl, and you are connecting with a Pokémon Wii game, in DS appear 2 white screens. This problem is already know, but the thing is know WHY this happen.

I have theories:
- This game need to be patched with a fix for that.
- A Action Replay code to bypass the problem.

It requires a firmware update by the flashcard team to implement WIFi support into games. No Action Replay code or game patch will fix this problem. So basically, theres nothing we can do unless we have the source code to the flashcart. The problem is due to the flashcart not sending the correct data to the Wii and the flashcart not able to receive data from a Wii which causes this.

So.. the only way to fix this, is if the flashcard team implement that, or hacking the firmware?
Well, im a R4 user, and because there are no more updates, must need hack the last firmware.

I know that exist some tools (Yasu R4 decrypt, etc..). With that, will be possible?

No, it still won't be possible. This isn't something you can do with a hex edit, ASM hack to the firmware. You'll need the actual source code which isn't available for the R4. So since the R4 team has disbanded, the R4 will never have Wii support or any new features or updates.

Well, at least we have YSMenu with DSTT updates. Maybe if DSTT team release it..

Supposedly the EDGE supports this. I have an EDGE, but since I'm not gonna waste my money on BR, I can't test.

You don't have to "waste" your money.

If people actually READ stuff before coming over forums and whining because their cards are not what they expected thing would be WAY different. That is why sites like this one (yes, GBATemp) do REVIEWS, theres also a wiki about this reviews and compatibility issues.

I own one R4 and I can tell you the R4Team hasnt disbanded at all, they are still producing their own R4i, they also released some other firmware for the R4, but it was slow and messed up the AR Cheat list (CHEAT.dat) on my current setup, so I just downgraded from 1.23/1.22 to 1.08 again.

So learn your lesson kids and read REVIEWS, and check COMPATIBILITY LISTS before buying your flashcarts/MicroSD TFs, come on, its just the most safe way to actually INVEST your money instead of just wasting it out of ignorance and whining about it later...

first - I dont buy my 3 cards and 3 DS only to play pokemon BR

second - I dont even buy pokemon BR, I run it from USB player

third - I just want to know IF this conection thing works on one of my flashcards

fouth - I cant speack english very well, so, is hard to me to explain the situation

fifith - Sorry for any inconvenience...

You see my english is not that good either, I am Mexican.

And to solve your problem, there is no better way than (and I insist): READING THE COMPATIBILITY LISTS BEFORE BUYING YOUR FLASHCARTS.

Simply use Google (your best friend) and think of smart key words, then click on the best result and do your research instead of buying then whining.

I own one flashcart: the R4, and I know it has some compatibility issues, and I bought it knowing about that beforehand, and I am also aware that there will be some games that will be troublesome to play because of new Anti-Piracy crap.

So, once again a wise reccomendation: Inform yourselves before doing anything, if you can't find your answer, keep looking until it's some life/death situation. Not just some random and dumb "My flashcart doesn't work with PBR... I think maybe an AR code would fix it" kind of statement...

-sigh-
