wait a year and no$gba should be cool enough to play it including all DS features (microphone, wifi, ..) until then real game or flash cart is the only way

Uh, no$gba already has microphone support and plays several games at 100% speed with accurate sound. Wifi is quite possible in the future, I imagine.

Also, to the person who said emulators suck for touchscreen... That's how the developers MAKE the games. They use the official Nintendo dev kit emulator, which uses mouse clicking for touchscreen features.
Are you sure? I always imagined they'd use special a USB tablet or something like that.

Yep, game is made in linux (nope not windows XP or Vista). Also other console games are made like that (even PSP PS3 And WII.) Testing of the WII controle is whit a real hooked up to the pc installed drivers for linux and an Infrared transceiver to get the movement.

You're so wrong, dude.

This is what they use. A hardware emulator with debugger. Controlable with the hooked up Debug-DS. Can also be connected to a PC via USB and the game screens can be shown both on the connected DS and on external TVs.

This game is coming out THIS month anyway, I don't see why anyone would want to play it on their computer (especially if they don't understand Japanese) when you can just play it on your DS.

how do i run the rom. it just hangs on the blue screen with some japanese text

I'm also with this guy. I tried to run the JP Diamond and Pearl on my rig and it just literally hangs at a blue screen with a bunch of text. What does this have to do with? Is there a way around it?

Thanks in advance.

I had same problem, but i found answer. You need to change some settings

. Second post:

But my game run outside about 28%, which make this game unpalyable

. Is tehere any way to run it faster?

Wow, pretty cool. At least Pokemon isn't a stylus-intensive game. Or at least, you can choose not to make it stylus-intensive.

lol it seems that serebii.net uses this emulator now..
i think he managed to take his save file from real nds to no$gba..
and he changed almost all of the crappy pictures from the real ds he had in his guide.. ^^
how the hell he got to regigas in no$gba T_T..
he need to make trades.. so must have been save file swap :S

Action Replay?

I have the hunch serebii used a flashcard to play his D/P in the first place, considering how early he got it, so in that case it's not hard to just take the save and use it on an Emulator...

lol nvm i think he past the game through no$gba..
coz u can go and see regigas like this too.. but can't fight him without trade look lol.. i went there too

and serebii has no good looking pic's of events legendaries like aresus and shemi and all this

i guess he spent some nice time playing PD in no$gba like me^^

I have the English Pearl and Diamond roms and I can't save with either of them on the newest version of no$gba (Savestates and in-game saving doesn't work).

Anyone know how to regulate this?

Everyones having this issue on the forums I visit, possibily it's because it's an unsupported save type (although that would mean we were just lucky in bypassing the issue on the japanese version), so it might be a long while before getting to play it on the emu *shrug*

but the jp save works..
i guess u need to change some settings..
at least i've finished the game in jp version without buying ds^^

Yeah well some of us don't speak or read Japanese. I'm hoping this will soon be regulated because I've been looking forward to playing this. Anyone have any theories as to why this does not work?

There are more differences between the jp version and the usa version than just a language translation....look at the rom sizes, jp is twice as big.

Also the jp version only worked because someone figured out that renaming NO$GBA.INP to firmware.bin worked, had nothing to do with settings.

Siludin I've got no theories, but I'm notcing people with the various cards are having troubles as well *points at most other forums* So somethings happened.

lol with the No$GBA.INP=firmware( the bypass) that's the message

with original firmware (+my old save from JP version lol)

(i can see my save status but black screen when try load it)
so i think it's a firmware emulation problem, in jp we could bypass it coz 2.4a can work without firmware but now it isn't working..
maybe new protection system or the new rom size :S

there must be a way to bypass this sh1t, and then i can load my jp save!! (after i finsihed the game^^)

edit: with the no$gba.inp=firmware i can see my save stat for a second then it get to the message :X
