Don't think there is a check within the online servers that flags the shiny if you force it with cheat. you could rng manipulate for legit shiny pokemon.I have a question, Does cheating a shiny poke'mon with the encounter cheat in BDSP effect the poke'mon in any negative way that would flag it? Or does the game think it's actually a "legit" encountered poke'mon?
So as far as the game knows, it's a normal usable poke'mon? Okaythen.Don't think there is a check within the online servers that flags the shiny if you force it with cheat. you could rng manipulate for legit shiny pokemon.

Works great! Thanx for this. And out of curiosity sake, any idea why the other one crashes the game when you touch the screen? that's oddly specific. XDHere you go. Credit @Eiffel2018 @patjenova @ThePerplexedOne

Because where the new instructions were being written to was too high up in pearl's game code memory location, and as such was interfering with game code that was actually being used, rather than the intended unused debug functions. It was easy to miss, it was only off by a few bytes.Works great! Thanx for this. And out of curiosity sake, any idea why the other one crashes the game when you touch the screen? that's oddly specific. XD
Since I have just learnt how to branch properly, I will be continuing my experiments on that over the coming days.Hi @INSTRUMENTAL was just wondering any progress on the pokedex encounter cheat?
Actually is okay if it is impossible to do so. I will pick up the pokemons that i want through pkhex or individual encounter code
But really appreciate you for helping for providing the other codes!
The HOLD L for shiny encounter is for wild pokemon encounter, you hold L and walk into grass, that pokemon you encounter will come out shiny. This does not apply to pokemon that you already caught (in your party or box)Is there a code to let evolving poke'mon become shiny?
I tried the Hold L for shiny encounter on my evolving Magikarp, and it appears to not do anything, tho if I'm wrong what is the timing I have to use to get it to work? Cause I know the time had to be very particular to get it to work on the starter encounter. [I'mma keep trying tho lol]
Aww darn, it works on starters tho, but I guess they fall within the wild encounters. The HOLD L for shiny encounter is for wild pokemon encounter, you hold L and walk into grass, that pokemon you encounter will come out shiny. Sorry i dont, best bet you can do it through pkhex or use the shiny encounter cheat to catch another magikarpAww darn, it works on starters tho, but I guess they fall within the wild encounters.
But back to the subject at hand, Know of any shiny code that works on evolving poke'mon?
That... Is a good idea... why'd I not think of that. XD Thanx!use the shiny encounter cheat to catch another magikarp
poffin code for diamond?Since I have just learnt how to branch properly, I will be continuing my experiments on that over the coming days.
I have a few ideas on what to do, so there's plenty to test.

When you select your attack, instead of pressing "A" to select it, press and hold "ZR" until the move hits. Just make sure your move will being going first, or you'll get KO'd.Is there a 1 hit KO code that works? Tried the one in the master list "Instant kill SP (Hold ZR)" and it seems to do nothing.
Also why no inf Power points? [please link if there is one for this]
