@ChicagoMel You have perfect timing. I've just done a few new radar codes.
I've got a few notes.
1. I've made my own Inf Radar code. It's very simple, you can just use the radar over and over, not a single step needed, it will just always work when using it.
Credit to
@FabioCapela for making the original
"PokeRadar Always Charged" code , however, mine is not the same and operates entirely differently in how it alters the game. (Just as a PS, I've not used FabioCapela's code before, so I don't know if it does 'exactly' the same functions as mine.)
2. In regard to the
"Radar Chain x99", credit
@Stoned for the original code, I did not obtain new pointers for his code, I went digging to make my own cheat to set the radar chain count. My code sets the count to 101. Simply turn it on and your chain count will always be 101. There is no freezing/white screen bug with my new code.
3. While there is a code that prevents chains from breaking, credit
@FabioCapela (afaik), (other than running and leaving route etc.), I have made a code that instead of stopping breaks, prevents the chain count being reset and the chain encounter from ending. While it may sound similar, it's different in a few ways. With my
"Inf Chain" code, you can run from battle and the chain stays (actually increases by 1
), you can also leave the route, come back and use the radar and it'll still be the same chain.
3a. When using my
"Inf Chain" code, when you go to a different route, if you use the radar there, it brings your chain with you, for example;
- Go to route 201, chain STARLY.
- Fly to Pastoria, then run to Route 213
- Use radar again, you will still be encountering STARLY. (FYI, if you catch it at route 213, it is an illegal pokemon, as its encounter is impossible there)
Therefore, if you want to start chaining a different pokemon, use the "[Inf Chain (Off)]", use the pokeradar 1 more time, then run to really break it.
I wish to reiterate so it is crystal clear, I made these codes from my own exploration. I have been and am aware, that others have made cheats with the same effect. These codes are different in their execution and also in some cases, the effect they provide.
All of these codes work for
both BD & SP 1.1.3
