Hey Drayano,
I just wanted to say that I appreciate all the work you have put into making this hack the best it can be, and for considering other people's opinions as well as your own. You give credit where it is due and even advertise other Pokemon hacks going around as well. I have respect for you, and hope your HG/SS hacks are coming along as nicely as the B/W hacks.

Heh heh, thank you, I appreciate the compliments. I personally think these are probably my best work yet, but... you never know! Still, I think they'll at least match BB/VW. Kind of.

Oh Wow, been awhile since I visited these Forums whats new in this hack?

Assuming you mean SG/SS, it's basically all Pokémon + trainer rosters + Pokémon changes etc the usual and a lot of new scripts since I can actually make things in fourth gen!

Just want to say thanks so much for making this hack. The original game was really boring to me and I breezed through without much impression of it. This hack was everything I wanted the original game to be, favourite pokemons that wasn't done justice are now more useful, poor and unfortunate starters now actually secured a spot in the team (yes,pikachu, I'm looking at you as well), enemies are more fun to battle. It's the change in pokemon that made me choose this hack over others. All in all, great job.

we all know that pokemon's storyline is horrible( expecting a good story from pokemon? who am I kidding). Hearing about changes you made for the characters in HG/SS made me really excited. Cynthia? auto-win . She's the coolest character to ever existed in the history of pokemon.

No problem, I'm glad to do it. To be honest, I don't mind B/W's storyline myself, but heh. I haven't really been able to flesh out my new 'story' for SG/SS so much (time limits and all that) so it's more about cameo appearances than anything else, but yeah. Hopefully you'll like the additions.

If this comes out tomorrow, it will be the perfect birthday present!

Haha, well, you might be in luck. If I'm not mistaken, I think the hack will be ready... tomorrow! (Well, today my time, as it literally just turned midnight) i.e. It'll be released sometime on Friday 25th May, 2012.

I hope it's not too short notice, I wasn't expecting to suddenly be able to announce it finishing. I just hope it all works out, although I'm fairly sure everything SHOULD be playable.

Well to be honest there's not much info, I've just dotted random screenshots and whatnot through the thread. The basic functions are similar to my other hacks so they won't be of too much surprise, then there's just some odd script events and such.

I'll probably explain it in more detail when I post the thread for it (which should be within the next 16 hours or so).

Yup, SG/SS stands for Sacred Gold and Storm Silver.

hey, so, dray's new hack of hg/ss, will be likely to be released tomorrow right?, those are good news, since, i'm kind of getting bored of gba hacks, then got to knew this, so i'm looking foward to play it, and hope it doesn't crash on my dstt : D so, apart from new items, some characters from other regions, what else this hack will have?, or do i have to wait for dray's new thread to know?
EDIT: sorry, but, this hack will be playable until some point like a beta release or we will be able to play the whole hack like a final release?

To be honest I'm finding it hard to list specifically what, I'll probably go into it in more detail when I make the thread but you can expect the usual additions as well.

There's still stuff I'll be able to add in the future but for all intents and purposes it's a full hack (i.e. you can play it right up to the end).

don't worry, i won't be forcing you to do so, i think it might be better, in some cases, to find some by myself, and sorry if this sounds dumb, but, by the end you also mean, kanto gym leaders, elite 4 2nd time, vs red, and gym leader rematches?

lol Dray only releases full finished hacks, he never releases betas where you can't finish the game
