Misc Pokemon Black wifi question

I heard that you can play wifi via 3DS with a WPA connection but when I try to connect to wifi I get an EC of 51099. Is their a simple fix to this?

You are using a legit Pokemon Black right? Cause if you use a flashcart it uses Ds mode. Which doesn't support WPA

Most older DS games only use WEP.

Unless the title is DSi Enhanced or DSi Only, it is guaranteed to only support WEP. Regardless, only DSi mode supports anything other than WEP.
