I need help with my r4i-sdhc 3ds what should i do get it working
Ask this in the AP thread.

By the way if anyone needs help with the game (other than Internet related/global link which I can't access), feel free to ask me. I have completed the Japanese version and that might help quite a bit.

Could you give me a list of useful Pokémon to catch? I have found mareep/Flaaffy/Ampharos not so useful, despite everyone recommended it.
I'm playing the White 2 Version on Challenge Mode.

EDIT: Also if you would like where I can catch them. I could look it up nevertheless.

if you're playing in Challenge Mode you really shouldnt be asking this questions and yu should know, i recommended you playing in normal mode 1st.

I have played in normal mode, thats how I know mareep isn't worth it to take with me.
Also trapinch is a pain in the ass too, only decent when doing last gym.

Some pokemon I would generally recommend:

Flying: Braviary, Crobat, Archeops (if possible)
Ghost: Chandelure
Dark: Zoroark, Hyderigon (if it works out)
Fighting: Lucario
Steel: Metagross
Electric: Magnezone, Ampharos (if it works out), Zebstrika (if it works out)
Fire: Chandelure, Volcarona, Magmortar, Arcanine
Ground: Krookodle, Flygon (if it works out)
Psychic: Espeon
Ice: Lapras
Water: Starmie
Dragon: Haxorus
The reason why I have Hyderigon as "if it works out" is because it evolves at a pretty high level (64).

Allright! In your face Burgh! I beat him at the first try and never used genesect. Darmanitan defeated leavanny at two turns. Leavanny didn't do any damage except string shot! :) :) :D :D
At the moment in Nimbasa City! And I evolved Riolu! Great progress

Fuck PWT and Flannery. I always get distracted somehow.

are you kidding me? i have finished the original black with only the starter pokemon on the first run (oshawoot)

Clearly you are underestimating Lucario. He can carry throughout the whole game. But yea, he made it pretty boring so I won't bother catching him this playthrough.

I was more talking about that I actually want to use diversity.
Of course it's easier to smash through with Lucario, but in my eyes this defies what the game is all about.

Why would it be bad to try and use other Pokémon who are also fun to use? All I want is a team that can be used normally like every other playthrough =3.
its not bad to try new pokemons... w/e works for you... i find it challenging to get pass the whole game with only one pokemon, the key is having him with no more than one move per type

i have done so with HG(until red...) and Black(counting the second elite four battle)

right now im before the third gym (the bug one) and oshawoot(level 28 unevolved, waiting for hydro pump to evolve) cant do much, just started to catch all the pokemons that osha cant 1HKO but wont be training them for now (mostly for cut, fly, strength, flash...)

osha's moves are 2 waters ones, a fighting move and a bug move, the problem that the bug one isnt strong at all and its not doing much dmg

It's definitely not advisable to have just your starter/one poke do all the work, especially in Gen 5 where the level curve is pretty tight.

You can do that with Gen 3 and 4 (I just used my starter in Gen 3 - Good ol' Sceptile, and starter + 1 backup in Gen 4 (normally the bird like Pidgeot or Staraptor). However it's quite difficult to maintain this in Gen 5 because the level curve is a lot tighter. For example: when you leave the city with Lv18 trainers and you're at Lv22 or so, the next route will have trainers at that range too. Gen 3 and 4 didn't have such a tight level range. In such a case, if the trainer happens to use a super effective type, you're kinda screwed.

For B2W2,
you cannot even get the main legendary during Pre-E4 period. If you think that your main legendary is going to back you up, then too bad.

You can get others though, like the fighting trio.

(I really wish I could play this. Don't have enough cash to buy it right now and I don't pirate Pokemon games)

Dewott: Lv. 19
Lucario: Lv. 21
Genesect: Lv. 18
Flaffy: Lv. 16

For those you have not played the game and are dying to know the rest of the story, send me a PM or I can post a spoiler here. :P

I haven't bought it yet either; I'm playing through on DSTwo, and once I get the retail cartridge, I restore my save file to it and continue from where I left off.

Does B/W's Pokesav work with B/W'2 save files?
My first guess would be no.
How would the old Pokesav handle the new Kyurem and Therian forms?
What about Hidden Hollows in the save?
Pokesav for D/P worked in Platinum. Just didn't have the extra content.
And most likely messed up your save file upon saving.
Nope, tested a few minutes ago. Successfully got a Lvl 100 Bidoof.
And what tells you no flags or no other hidden bytes were messed up in your save file? ;)
Because I just played through it in the last day. Works fine. No problems.

I don't think you quite understood what I meant.
