The Meloetta event is live!

Happy holidays! In honor of Pokémon's 20th Anniversary, Game Freak has been having several events throughout the year where they've been distributing rare Pokemon. The year is coming to a close, and so are the events. Now's your last chance to fill up your 'dex with rare pokemon!

From now to December 24th you can claim your own Meloetta for XYORAS. Luckily, this one is being distributed via WiFi! Just use the mystery gift the the Pokémon is yours!

I don't know if that is important, but i do live in France, so those are maybe EUR Mew.
I will give those 2 codes to the two first people who ask for them on that thread (and that thread only).

Assuming that the Gen1 games are, more or less, straight rom dumps, there were contests & such that Nintendo held and people sent in their carts to get Mew as a prize, so there were some legitimate Mews released in the States....

Obviously, no one would have them in the VC releases, but if the coding is all the same, it wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

So...question: You can use ARCodes to inject Wonder Gifts into your game (check out PokemonQR). Why can't we do the same to inject pokemon as Wonder Gifts?
