You guys are just hurting yourselves trying to use PALib, Use Libnds or use the gui code from the Acekard firmware (I find it very nice and easy too use). Also make all images external and put all the information in ini files. This makes it easier for the end user to customize it too how they want it.

In this case its easier, and when we move config and pokemon data to different folders, they'll be equally customisable, adn you can DLDI patch it!

I bet you don't even know how DLDI works. The way your doing things at the moment, especially your use of PAlib makes me almost spew. PAlib is like a virus of the nds homebrew scene, good for noobs but severely limits what you can do and also promotes bad coding habits. I could come up with something using the Acekard GUI code in an hour or so which would run pretty well and can be easily expanded. It's not my place too force things upon you but i highly recommend looking as the Acekard GUI code, as its highly customizable and easy to use.

sorry for the outburst but I dont like it when people come in here and call us complete n00bs and are going to fail if we dont use a certain program.. I mean, who the hell are they to tell us what to do.. We can do what we want, as long as it turns out good..

I never said you would fail if you used PAlib, I just suggested something less restrictive and easier to use in my eyes. That insult about telling me to go shag a sheep was uncalled for. Your not complete n00bs, atleast you guys want to learn to program, but compared to others you are still newbies. Showing disrespect to others is usually a good way to get banned. Yes you can do what you want and use what you want and it will turn out as good as you can program it, which based on the last blog entry about you guys giving up on the programming and searching for someone else too do it for you, sounds bad for the project.

Actually, that was a problem which we have now fixed.
True the insult about the sheep was uncalled for, but so is marching in because you have some project beneath your belt means nothing.
Because some of your projects are awesome, doesn't give you the right to say that our choice isn't good.

Although we are being harsh on him, After all, he made DeSmuME which is my second favourite DS emu. And quite a few other projects. And he knows about this stuff.

Hi, I agree, we are totaly noob.
That is, because, this is the first programming project ever for me...
But the way you told us that, was a little insulting.
And I wasn't searching someone else to do the programming, and I wasn't giving up.
Totaly not, whenever I have had time, I was working, so that I could try and fix it.
I was just asking a little help. From an experienced programmer, so that that person could help me just a little.
And excuse me, but I'm new in the homebrew scene, so I use PAlib, probably like everyone who is new in the flashcartscene, who buys an R4...
And probably, that's because, PAlib, is very easy to use, especialy for someone new to homebrew, like me... isn't it?

Btw, curley, you shouldn't insult people like that. If you want to, please don't do that in this topic

My plan didn't work. Yes, it worked, but not the way I want it to work. And I don't think it's even possible how I thought it would work.

I accedentaly formated my HDD. (long story, involves installing XP op new vista laptop etc.)
Gosh, I'm happy that I made a backup on the internet!
