Dunno if anyone knew (i didnt coz its easy to overlook) but if you goto the option area with the info about stickers and ar viewer and scroll down you can change the "scene and window of the display. window doesnt change much but scene 2 and 3 have cool backgrounds!
..!
I was wondering how that was done.. thought it was developer content at first.

I haven't been using any generator programs, just messing around in MSPaint and now I've got quite a lot of working AR markings.
Here's the photo of my current progress. If you view it at full size most of them are readable by the 3DS. Only the ones next to actual pokemon don't work properly because part of their white border is obscured by the pokemon next to them.

Some pretty clear patterns there. I wonder if anyone can do anything with them.

I got Terrakion because light messed up an AR card I drew for something else and it gave me Terrakion by mistake.I'm curious as to why this isn't something more 'serious'. I mean think about it. We have the AR technology to project images of pokemon into the wider world, and we have the AR Game technology to interact with them. Lack of Pokemon Snap sequel is decidedly odd. Hell, you could make a full on Pokemon AR RPG. You hear me, Nintendo? Get it done and the 3DS will go from slow starting gimmicky toy to essential to all children dominant console.

Overlapping some rows and columns in the GIMP show some interesting patterns. There's definitely a pattern in the 3rd row, 4 are constantly white.

THIS MAN SPEAKS THE WORDS OF REASON!
I've been thinking this since info on the 3DS was linked! Camera, gyroscope technology, 3d, augmented technology, etc. EVERYTHING is all there, all we need is the game! They've made an open world shooter called Face Raiders, why not apply the same principle to capturing pokemon on film, only with a fully graphical world!
