I wanted to know the size of the jpg?

WiiCrazy said:D-Jay said:What about compiling-on-the-fly feature? Is there any way to have just a dol-file that's installed in preloader without the need of mp3 and jpg?
That would be a very very nice feature, cause some friends of me don't have a SD-Card (yes, they're cheap).
Once I find or create a default mp3/jpg that I can distribute, that feature will be there along with a pc program to customize it.... though it's not called compiling-on-the-fly but instead let's say theme injection into the dol...

Same for me! Good work, dude!WiiCrazy said:This week I'll only have saturday to work with this, really busy with work...
Things you can expect,
2. Ability to inject the mp3 and picture into the dol with a pc side program.
That would be great!

- can you also make it so it will immediately continue to the system menu after the boot.jpg has been displayed for a few seconds?
- make all buttons on the wiimote mapable to a channel instead of only the directional buttons

vettacossx said:hmmmm so in theory...just a random thought but you could use Mplayer or Geexbox source codes to impliment a Video Intro via Pre-loaders Autoboot feature...meaning that when you boot your wii (yet another) custom version of mplayer (say MplayerBootFlik edition LOL for discussions sake is created with its own SPECIAL GUI (how about combining preloaders menu with mplayer......
Boots wii to Mplayer...Loops Vid in root....Untill you press A for sys menu or B for HBC....OR just have preloaders GUI load ABOVE the mplayer video...Like GeeXbox Doesbut with better options
maybe just the use a specific button to toggle on/off said gui menu...ect....![]()
that seems like a reasonable goal? no? Plus much of the source code could come from the other apps code providing permissions GPL ect? just a thought bro! at anyrate we will all be looking foward to this (I already have softmii installed but this still seems more user friendly and in that way...it will be more brick proof to the end user
