GoldSrc is closed source I thought, right? How would one port it easily without access to that?

This is just a shitty port of the GoldSrc ENGINE. This doesn't include half-life and it will only run the engine in the background. Here is the source code if anyone wants it.

Well, out of curiosity, does it render or anything? AKA if we were to tell it to load a map or something, would it do anything?

Not really. This was mostly made for homebrew devs. You can build it if you want and see what happens.

Also can someone build my project for me. Im having trouble with the building on mac.

If it's possible to get Goldsrc then I will dare to dream of Unreal Tournament.

I don't see this working though :(

... YOu can't get it to compile and you're already posting it?
No thats not it. I don't know how to compile projects on mac. Its compiled on my VM but it has no internet connection so I can't post it on this thread. I also can't take it out of my VM.

and its not perfect

I said this before, it doesn't run half life yet. It only loads up the engine in the backround.
I meant that I don't expect this to work, not that it isn't working now. Sorry if my wording wasn't clear.

Inspecting the source zip in the OP: there doesn't seem to be any actual source code provided in the zip, just a handful of header files, a couple of binary blobs, and an icon. This distribution cannot be built in its current form.
