Wow dude, what a misfire. Someone close this thread, please.

BTW I'm a big fan of Half-Life, but I don't think it would work gameplay-wise on 3DS at all, and I finished it on PS2 twice. Hell, Quake is messy to play. But if there are people who can play Kid Icarus: Uprising comfortable than the sky is the limit, I guess.
 
I was trying to make Half-Life run in ctrQuake, but it didn't wanted to load some objects/textures, rendering into some errors.

Oh well, I'll still see if this is possible or not. ;)
 
Well, the source code for the full Gold Source engine (Half-Life 1 SDK) according to Valve is here: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/halflife
Someone can try to port it from that.

Gosh, I would love to play Half-life 1 on the 3DS.

Pretty sure that's just the mod SDK, not the engine. Goldsrc being open sourced would have made news in quite a few places.
