moonshell works on my r4 but the reset doesnt work

Someone who's too lazy to turn it off and turn it on again. Did you put the correct NDS file in the reset folder. There should be one for each flashcart. I'm not sure what the one for r4 is.

I so agree. What's the difference? Except if your hand is tired from turning it off.

But if you really, really want to, highlight exit back to firmware, then tell me what appears.

he needs the "R4TF.nds" to be on the resetmse folder of his moonshell 2 folder of the r4 cart.

to answer your question about turning it on and off, it saves your power switch by using a soft reset thus why a soft reset exists.....

You can download the R4TF.nds to enable moonshell reset.. just put it in resetmse folder and your done!

but it only brings me back to moonshell

Do you have Moonshell as default.nds or as your firmware?

Your moonshell will only exit back to R4 firmware if it is NOT the firmware itself, try setting moonshell, to the media button on your R4's original firmware then use the reset.

also as a side not if your thinking it will take you to the DS firmware this is not the case, it means the flashcarts firmware.

Are you using it as your Kernel? As in your System Menu. With the plug-ins? Or is you moonshell named as default.nds.

i use the r4 firmware, i named my moonshell2.nds _DS_MSHL.NDS (to make it work with the middle button), and i put the r4tf.nds (64kb) in the resetmse folder. wat did i do wrong.
