This is probably a hardware issue so it will require you to open the switch. Fortunately there are no hidden screws to deal with and you just need the back off to inspect everything. I would try reseating the sdcard reader first. If that doesn’t work, replace it. It’s cheap. If that doesn’t work take the Switch in to have the connector on the motherboard in to be inspected

you absolutely do. Hold the power button down for 13 real seconds. It will turn off then.do i have to turn off my switch before this?
because if so i cant, it wont turn off.
