As you'll see from my previous posts I had a Wiifree chip and have been unable to get Wiifit working. Managed to take my Wii back to the shop I got it modded and had it changed to the latest version of YAOSM. Now everything works just fine, even games that needed freeloader boot ok without freeloader and no more unauthorised device detected messages. Probably not what you want to hear but it's time you changed your chip for something better.

Ehm I have solved the mistery :wtf:
For who have a Wiifree chip simply load the "Open Config Disc Creator 1.0" and disable the Region Patching.
After this Wii fit will work ...It works with both original and backup of WiiFit disk.

I don't know why... but it works :wtf:

I've a WiiFree v. 2.45

Regards

ps : Sorry for my terrible english...I'm italian

Has anyone else confirmed this method as working? I'm trying to get a NTSC-U copy of WiiFit working on an NTSC-U without luck, and I've got a WiiFree as well.

But I tried creating a config disc with the "Open Config Disc Creator 1.0" and had no luck getting it to work (Wii recognized the disc but it said it could not recognize it [EDIT: err, that doesn't make much sense...what I meant to say was the disc was recognized as a GameCube disc by the loader but when I tried to run it the Wii told me it was an unreadable disc] and told me to power off the system).

Any other WiiFree users fix this problem using the above method?

At one point PC game pads where poorly supported, loading a game had setup, it was complicated. Now it's almost as easy as a console.
