Hello All,

I am new around you so hi to everyone.

Secondly i just got a digital edition off of ebay to start learning and broaden my skills. Anyway long story short has anyone seen such damage and any idea what have caused it?

Blown component 1R0 Inductor, taken out some caps on its way out. Probably melted layers because almost every component shows short around it (0.006ohm resistance on continuity mode).

Apu had a bit of dry patch on it but i couldnt find any liquid metal on the motherboard.

Please see pictures for your reference.

How does the power modul ic on the backside looks like?
If it burns from front to backside, I guess the board is gone.

A short on those DRMOS chips that signifcant is highly probable that the apu is shorted dead also. This is the main power feed line to the apu.

If your power supply is dead or burn on the 12v line, that would explain what happened on this board. The 1R0 inductor connects directly to 12v line

And from your picture there were some liquid residue left on the edge of the board, it might also be the cause of the inductor fried up
