Hacking playing hbc and usb loader games from external hdd?

just bought west digital 640gb ext hdd (wtf do i need that much space?!) can i run hbc off it AND play wii games from the loader? if so how?

HBC is installed on the Wii NAND, wii games need to be on the hdd.

but i've seen the option to load the emulator games from usb in the hbc??

HBC will be on the nand, but it doesn't read HDD only SD. Other apps like Wii Homebrew Launcher read multiple sources including SD and HDD. For using it for both Homebrew and Wii games you would need 2 partitions.
