Hello, so i just bought a Nintendo 2DS with FW 8.1.0-19E. I bought the 2DS Mario Kart 7 bundle which is pre-installed, so my question is, since i want to keep this FW and use a Flash Cart later on, can i play Mario Kart 7 now without the risk of losing my current firmware? Do games for 2ds/3ds have custom updates on them or can i just play the game without any worries until I'm ready to buy a Flash Cart?
The reason i ask this is because i was told to be careful with my FW on my Wii U when buying and playing games because Wii U games contain firmware updates which can mess up your current firmware. Thats why i thought it would be wise to ask you gurus for advice before i mess it up.
