It worked great for me too, running 3.2E with CIOSCORP. I just used WAD Manager 1.4 to install and it works fine.

For those wondering why this wants to run an update.

It is because of IOS56-64-v5146, The Guitar Hero 5 disc is the only place version 5146 of IOS56 exists (to my knowledge).

As of this post v5146 is still not available from Nintendo's servers (using NUSDv12).

The actual SystemMenu that Guitar Hero 5 contains is SysMenu 3.4
I posted the update contents of the game here.

ok so i have 4.0U
i have cioscorp ( you install it by installing all those wads on the installer or via wad manager... )
so i install the cios provided and pop in guitar hero 5 ( i really don't know what type it is )
when i go to the disc channel and it still shows that question mark...
HELP!

As per request of the OP, i am posting to confirm this worked. Previously installed cioscorp 3.3 with rev14 gave a 002 error, and after installing this wad it worked 100% straight from disc channel.

hey guys i got some great news!! i am playing GH5 on cioscorps version 2!! thanks to this wad... but i have a problem with any ciocorps... i can't play random matchs with random people also... i can't even download anything in the shop... has anyone else have problems like this....??

(Once again excuse my noob questions) Are there any prerequisites to installing IOS56-64-v5146.wad with the wad manager? I dont want to install it without doing something else first and then screw up my wii. I think Im currently using IOS37, because that's what it says on my HBC menu. Also, what would be the best method for someone like me, who is using dvd backups and NOT a usbloader? Im using a 3.2U wii

Hi everyone, i will no longer be issuing the download details via PM as the new and improved Cioscorp now includes the file needed in order to play GH5, so as this was for Cioscorp users only, then update your Cioscorp to v3.4.
