Just wondering if there's any special settings you need to do to make this work? I just spent an hour removing the DVD and hooking up a 2.5" HDD with a USB adapter, and now the Zelda I had on the HDD won't boot. The Wii just says "An error has occurred".

I also noticed that HBC takes a lot longer to boot up. I'm using USBLoaded GX and the original one.

You need a DVD drive hooked up or something that can emulate a DVD drive (FlatMii is the only such thing ATM).

Daaaaaaamn.

Ok, so I have a drive, but there's some mechanical fault with it so it won't eject discs. What other options do I have when it comes to getting games onto the HDD?

No I mean, can I copy ISOs onto a USB stick, maybe FTP them over, stuff like that. Anything but having to actually copy a DVD.

yes you can just use a program like wbfs manager to transfer them to the drive which saves more space because if you just add them to your usb stick or drive whatever it will use 4.37 gb and not what the game really uses
