Hi! I just joined, because I'm looking for help regarding my copy of a game, if this isn't the right place to post feel free to tell me.

I recently got a GBFlash, using FlashGBX as my software. For fun, and to test, I decided to copy Pokemon Emerald's ROM onto my computer. After downloading, It said that my checksum didn't match. It let me download it but notified me that it could be because of it being a repro, other stuff, blahblahblah. I tried my copy of Pokemon Pinball Ruby and Sapphire and it didn't give that error.

My point is that, i'm almost 100% sure my cart is an authentic one. I got it off of facebook marketplace in my small town, the cart itself has the number indents on the fromt, the label looks right, the board for the cart is 1:1 with a normal authentic version of the game, and it doesn't pause the music when saving. If needed, I can provide the dumped ROM and photos of the cart. If it's important, my emerald battery is dead.

Anyways, point is, why could my checksum be wrong?
