FarSight Studios is the developer behind one of the most popular multi-platform Pinball games to date. Pinball Arcade has releases on iOS, Android, XBLA, PSN, and Mac OS; and FarSight has made it known for some time their plans to release on other platforms. On September 14th, they finally announced on their official Facebook page that they want to distribute the PC version of the game through Steam - but they need votes through Steam's Greenlight program in order to gain approval.

Many of you have been patiently (OK, not so patiently) awaiting the release of the PC version of the Pinball Arcade. We are excited to announce that it is finally ready! We would like to partner with the Steam online gaming platform to distribute the PC version, but we need your help. Steam uses a greenlight process to decide which games they distribute based on the number of votes a game receives. Please take a minute to cast a vote for the Pinball Arcade. As a small thank-you we've put together a new video that includes a glimpse of the upcoming Elvira and the Party Monsters table- check it out and cast a vote by following the link below!

Ever since I was a young boy,
I've played the silver ball.
From Soho down to Brighton
I must have played them all.
But I ain't seen nothing like this
In any amusement hall
That Farsight Studios
Sure makes a mean pin ball!

Unless that "Visual pinball cabinet" can load multiple tables I really don't see the point in having that as opposed to a real vintage table.

I really hope the Steam Greenlight succeeds but so far only 1% of the necessary positive votes have been raised. It takes weeks for some Kickstarters to raise enough attention to meet their goals, but I don't think Steam should have even forced a published developer such as FarSight to go through this approval process.

TPA is my favorite Vita title under $20 (and arguably my most-played Vita title altogether) and I absolutely love the Medieval Madness table which has voice acting from Tina Fey and is just a straight up hilarious table overall.

I love the fact all of the tables are reproductions of real tables.
