Gaming Pikmin 3 Hype Thread

I searched through the WiiU board and was surprised I didn't see any talk on it.
Honestly, all we know is that Miyamoto says "Anyone who played the original Pikmin games will enjoy playing it".

Any speculation? New Pikmin, controls, story, old game elements, etc.?

I'm pretty excited that they're building up hype by giving us NA Pikmin 2 NPC as a Nintendo Select too. I almost gave up hope too when I learned about the three year no-response compared to the other versions.

i'd like something in the vein of that 'idea' reel they played last year- the one where you fling throwing stars from the touch screen to the TV; just replace the stars with pikmin.

I feel like the Wiipad would become a sort of Pikmin inventory or tank. That would be interesting but not very Pikmin like. Not sure.
