The original flexes for v1 had a single fet, which wasn't strong enough for mariko so
Maybe right, maybe wrong, who knows.
From my side, I have done single mosfet since day one of this Mod available (maybe more than 20 switch, mostly come from my friends and my relatives). They are ranged from v1 patched to Oled, and I only have one problem with a Lite of my girlfriend. That Lite is combination of cursed from big N to me due to modding their beloved device: Tosiba emmc, stubborn APU, nearly no thermal paste and fan's ridiculous noisy. At that time, I don't think about dual mosfet, I made it harder by replacing emmc (backup data from Tosiba one and restore it to Samsung one with another unpatched v1) and signle mosfet still did fine. Don't know why but if it works, I'm happy.

Hello guys. I want to upgrade my V1 switch to OLED. I asked a local store which chip are the using, they install hwfly. Should I go with hwfly, or should I buy a picofly from aliexpress and istalled it into OLED.
Hwfly Sales Store at aliexpress sells both set at same price, like 30 usd. I guess they preinstall and remove the usb connect parts or something.

What are the advantages and disanvanteges between them? I am not the one who will install it, so it doesnt relly matter to me if pico/hwflt is harder to install. I am intersted for future problems, usage, or any other problems while using.

Random question, but can I use UV curable resin instead of purchasing a separate UV solder mask? Aren't they practically the same minus the dye? Just wondering if anyone has experience.

Yes, I use clear UV resin, and it is non-conductive, but that doesn't mean EVERY UV resin is non-conductive.

Here is the one I use, and I use a AAA-battery-powered UV laser pen to cure it.
