I have 2 v1 flex clables, do you think theres a way to connect these 2 ribbon cables to my v2 switch? Or would i have to use my air station to exract the mosfets and use them like that

Search the thread, has been asked MANY times, in MANY variants (Can I use V1 cable on V2? Can I use V2 cable on V1? Can I use mosfets off HWFLY cable?) PLEASE, search for this information.

I've try the 6512 this weekend and failed (blue-cyan).
Need further examination though, until next week, or whenever i have spare time

That would be a letdown if its true, as my mosfets list already arrive.. will try installs tonight. Single mosfet is the goal.
Yesterday I installed my first on non lite, it was V2 and it was also single mosfet, OnSemi brand.

Another unrelated question, do you know equal point of the D mosfet other then the 2 point (cap) inside the apu shield?

I assume this is voltage regulated right, so it might be supplied by some voltage regulator. There is voltage regulator ic in the bottom, max77812 but it didn't connect to those 2 point cap. Not yet searching the backside of the pcb. The top one, i already check it one by one and none connected to it. I might buy a broken lite, to research further, so i didn't worry to broke something, since it already broke.

Not thinking about that yet, coz with single mosfet its was pretty easy to execute the mod even compared to flex cable just my 2cents.
But maybe you can use this pcb layer image to have some kind of analisys.

im sorry but this "ground" pinout.... its impossible to tin.... i cant do it. IT WONT STICK and yes im using flux. how can i make it stick?

Looks good. Don't forget to clean the flux and add some kapton tape just to make sure you don't get a short in the future.
Also, for future reference, you don't need to use that Ground point necessarily, you can just solder that pin on the shield somewhere.

i ended up using the flex cables mosfets,whats the difference between np2016 (or whatever its called) and the IRFHS8342?

They are pretty much the same, the difference being that np2016 is manufactured by a Chinese company and I guess it's easier and cheaper to source it in China.

I can only find them on aliepress.
On ebay, amazon I can not.
Am I looking wrong?
If so, is one the other or should I take something in particular?
If I wanted to try without the adapter, which pin should I connect a jumper to?

That is just the regular waiting time if you order from Aliexpress, wait a few weeks.
