The only thing that's holding me from pulling the trigger is the fact that it's digital only. I like to have physical games, unless the digital version is freaking cheap, like less than $15. Plus I don't like Ninty's "games are tied to systems." I'll probably resign

But anyway, I've the demo at Anime Expo. Is there any difference between this demo and that one?
It is freaking cheap, IMO. A full length retail-quality game at less than half the price of regular games on release day? I couldn't ask for more.

Isn't this game gonna be $29.99 US? Regular 3DS games (excluding shovel-ware and the like) are $39.99 US. $10 less is not half price, and for me, is hardly consider "cheap." Cheaper than retail, yes, but hardly cheap in general.

Plus, I don't know if I should update my 3ds to access the eshop even though I'm on 5.1.11. It may one day be hack.......

why aren't they releasing this as a hard copy? >.<
I don't mind digital copies of games in general, but prefer to own hard copies of certain games. Phoenix Wright games being one of them! T_T
will probably get it once the price lowers a bit, short on money right now.

Not enough support outside of Japan, they thought they wouldn't make much profit from it.
But they know they have dedicated fans so released a digital copy thats cheaper to buy, and also cheaper to produce so everyone makes "profit"

I don't know about US but over here it's less than half, this goes for the rest of europe too I think.

The demo felt as if it had been dumbed down. As an example, when you go to present the tail of the one, Bum Rap Rhiny, Wright connects the dots instead of letting the player do it. I'm assuming it's simply due to the case being a part of the demo and it was quite early in the case. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable and I will be downloading when it's released.

Yup. It's a win-win situation for everyone involved except for those who cry about digital.

I most cases in the previous games you don't need to connect the dots, the character does it for you.
Only sometimes you have to choose a sentence to connect the dots. But you are certainly right, it would be much better if the game were harder.

Oh I hate you. If this game was less than half in the US, which it isn't, I'd get it. Maybe if the game ever goes on sale for under $25 I'd get it.
Converted it's here still more expensive than in the States, but regular games are even MORE more expensive here.

How can some people even consider to pirate this game when possible? At last we get a new epic Ace Attorney in english and it costs just fucking €24,99. How can people be so cheap?

Cause unfortunately a Gateway can't be ran on current firmware. If I want to buy it legit, I'd have to update my firmware. Believe me, I'd love to buy it legit.
