And finished. All 5 cases beaten.
I'm up to the First Court appearance in Case 2 and I have a question.
Is Dick Gumshoe in this game? I hate Bobby Fulbright
Dick Gumshoe is not in the game, and Bobby Fulbright is a very important character in Case 5.

Only 5 cases? I hope the fourth and fifth cases are long enough to give the story a sound ending.
Considering that original AA1 on GBA, AA2, and AA4 only have 4 cases, 5 cases are plenty.

Case 4 and Case 5 aren't really a separate case, they (along with Case 1) should be treated as one big case.

Go easy on the spoilers there, don't want to ruin the plot, do you?

Thought I was very easy on spoiler, but I'll shut up.

Though Capcom needs some proofreaders.

Just completed the game! Good content for £20 altho Id say only 2 of the cases were excellent (2 and 5) the others were average and i really didnt like case 3 at all but overall i thought it was an ok game, far from the best in the series tho but good for its price.

Things that that bugged me tho Spoilers about the whole game here. Do NOT read untill you have completed the game.
Case 3 was one giant mis-direction of stupidness, you spend half the game finding the evidence to prove the different location of the body only for the twist at the end to basically backtrack that entire logic, case 2 did a whole "we got this totally wrong" idea too but at least there it made sense, in case 3 its completely stupid and obviously trying to be too clever. There is no way in hell he would go to all that trouble, yeah ok he would try and pin the blame using the pre-recorded track but the blood on the flag and moving the statue and tieing her body up then using your staff to get the correct phoenix pose? Give me a break. Stupid case.

Case 4 was too short and just a lead into case 5, just make it 1 very long case and dont tease us by making us think there is 5 cases, there is 4.

Case 5 was good and generally made sense but i felt it was rushed, alot of evidence that could of been used (like the cut on the jacket) was ignored and somewhat overlooked and are we expected to believe that the dry leaves you found in the hallway DONT get included into your evidence? There is a point in the trial where you have to prove to apollo that there was another way out and those leaves are the way you do that, but you dont actually show it as evidence.

Speaking of the leaves... how the hell did they get in there anyway?! Its established he jumps from there onto the ladder but he doesnt go back up there afterwards untill the body is found. meaning that there is no reason why they should be there other than a coincidence that ironically leads us to his real escape. I guess thats why they overlooked as evidence.

One final thing.... I WANT TO SEE HIS REAL FACE! pffft

ok im done.

I didnt mind the case, but the statue thing was a bit mmm, but I guess if you need to prove how it could be done then yeah, thats the only way?

Yeah true. Technically they're 2 different cases but in terms of gameplay it was one long case

Yeah the leaves should have been evidence, but remember they were overlooked, which could be a real thing, overlooking seemingly irrelevant evidence. Umm yeah there were a few things that coulda been better but i didnt mind it much coz in terms of the context of the game, it was a rushed trial

There's trees around the centre, the force generated by it spinning pushed it in?
PW is all about coincidences :D

One final thing.... I WANT TO SEE HIS REAL FACE! pffft
He was a nobody, his face was irrelvant, just a phantom ;o;

ok im done.

I answered some of your rant ^ :)

I don't know if this as been brought up yet. I am just wondering if this is a bug or is done on purpose. There are random times where the game uses spanish words instead of english. Example at the beginning Athena says"¡No hay problema! I can handle it!

That is on purpose. She also interjects with French and German occasionally.

I actually like it :D

I'm LOVING the game so far. The cutscenes, characters, the criminal's snaps, the scenery, it all looks so much more life-like on the 3DS. I'm on first investigation of the 5th turnabout. I just kinda wish that the creator would make another trilogy like the first 3 games.

That is on purpose. She also interjects with French and German occasionally.

While the Spanish she uses is perfect (they were lucky maybe), Capcom botched the French phrases. On one occasion (case 2, start of investigation) she says "Nous allons commencer", which means "We will begin", instead of "Commençons", the proper use for "Let's begin".

And in case 3, to my great horror, she says "Je suis prêt", which is the masculine use for "I am ready"... She calls herself a man! Correct use for a woman is "Je suis prête". Of course, English doesn't have a distinction between the female and masculine use of the language.

Guess what? Both errors are the first suggestion Google Translation comes with when translating from English directly. The amount of work employed in both translation and proofreading for this Ace Attorney was minimal. I think there even wasn't any proofreading at all. And they said they had aggressive sale expectations for this one too.

Major spoilers!

Nah the reason the leaves are relevant is because while that door (the one leading to the museum) doesn't require fingerprint analysis to enter, the door is supposed to be closed while the launch pad is on rails. The fact the leaves are there clearly indicates the door was opened while it wasn't docked to the Space Station, and the only way that is possible is when the launch pad is on rails. Of course the only person who would have a reason to open the door when it would lead nowhere would be the killer.

I knew the leaves were relevant but my main issue with them is that they were not included as evidence that you could present. Also adds fuel to the fact i think case 5 was rushed because (as you rightly say) they could indeed be used to prove that there was an opening that the killer could of jumped out of or (again as you say) the killed opened it mid-rail to jump out and the leaves got inside. Either scenario they should of been included as evidence.

Your explaination for why the leaves are there answers my 2nd issue i had with them tho. ty!

Answered you inside the spoilers. ^

Whats everyone's fave case? I was on gamefaqs forums and i notice alot of people really like case 3 (which is the one i hated) and didnt like case 2 (which i thought was the best) so im just curious what everyone thinks? If you go into detail about why you like it, obviously put it in spoiler tags.
