Machine guns
Handguns
Launchers
Rifles
Bazookas
Wands
Magic rods
Slicers
Shields (new)
Gunslashes (new)

- shield: blunt weapon, offers defense at cost of PP
- gunslash: sword and gun combo that’s tough for beginners to handle, offers both close and long-range attack
- fight with bare hands
- three online modes: free mode, friends mode, single mode
- free mode: choose stage, get matched with a party automatically, anyone can join, chat via in-game keyboard (no pictochat)
- friend mode: pictochat included, assaign new friends, parties of friends…of friends are included
- single mode: one-player version of online play
- due out Dec. 25th in Japan

Huh, I hope it has those speech bubbles with pictures in them to save time like the other games have had.

Otherwise, sounds awesome. I haven't played Phantasy Star since the days of Blue Burst.

Yes, voice chat would be amazing, I think some previous info posted said it would have it but i'm not too sure.

So...I presume you can brain things with a shield (OMG D2 PALLY) and a gunslash is pretty much like a bayonet, or...gunblade?

I'm pretty sure they will.. I just have a feeling. Phantasy Star Portable is gonna make it to the US for PSP as well.. so I'm pretty sure this would.

There's still the Megaman Zero series! Never used anything but Buster and Saber anyway...
