Sega has just announced the Japanese release date for Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity! It will be released on February 24th, 2011.

Game Information
Sony PSP
February 24, 2011
5,040 Yen (UMD Version)
4,500 Yen (Download Version)

Additionally Sega is holding a campaign titled “Kizuna Infinite Power!” For those who pre-order the game at special participating game shops in Japan, you will receive 3 product codes. The codes are on a card called “Kizuna Infinity Set.” You can only get this card if you reserve, and the code may only be used once.[/p]Source

And alsoFamitsu did say something interesting. I don’t know whether it was subjective or if Sega actually fixed a bug, but to quote, “Before [in PSP2] when you switched weapons, you were not able to attack for a short time. This time, I can switch weapons and attack instantly.”[/p]Source (Gameplay videos)
That bug is really annoying, I've died from it a couple of times :l

BUT NOBODY CARES FOR THIS GAME EXCEPT FROM GOLI, RAIKA AND ME... AND RYDIAN IF HE FEELS LIKE IT :l
I WAS WRONG

Infinity Point Recap

* The fifth race is called the Dumans
* All data from PSP2 transfers to this game.
* With the “Rebirth” system, by sorting out your bonus points among stats like (HP/PP/ATK/ACC), your character returns to level 1 with additional stats you set. (Type Level limit also increases too). This allows one to create a stronger character from level 1. The Rebirth features is available at level 50.
* Mission Codes allow one to generate their own customized mission. You can obtain these codes through friends or by obtaining them within missions. Codes allow you to customize missions by changing the boss, or what items drop, or what enemies appear!
* New monsters and new bosses appear! Like Olga Flow from PSO!
* The new total Item count is around 3000
* New character, Nagisa, voiced by Nana Mizuki
* Online Multiplayer now has a huge lobby to chat, and assemble parties.
* Screenshot feature, take screenshots by holding select.
* Exchange mission codes and your character’s data with Friend Search. Your character’s data will be on your friend’s PSP and you can run missions together. Auto Words transfer over too!

HOLY SHIT OLGA FLOW IN MY PORTABLE

Is there a pre-patched 5.00 M33-6? (no links

)

This one looks like it's shaping up to be a good one, new race FTW (I hope).

I love the series ever since I've played Phantasy Star 0 hehe.

@Darkway Yeah, there is a pre patched version, actually, there are multiple ones. You can get them at ________ (Hint, it's another forum.)

REALLY???? That's the best they could do, replace one letter of the word Human?

I know but it's supposed to be Humans but SEED infected

According to this post at PSP2?s official blog, there’s some more concrete information regarding Dumans:

* Dumans were not engineered by another race (as is the case with newmans and beasts). Instead, they are direct mutations of humans.
* There are various opinions on what caused the mutation to occur, but one of the most prominent across Gurhal is that it is a result of the SEED incident.
* It seems dumans have not been catching any racial discrimination like all other new races had. Perhaps there is some powerful individual behind this…?
* A well-known PSU character may make an appearance as a duman in Infinity.
* You will be able to play through EP1 of PSP2 as a duman.
* As far as racial attributes are concerned, you could consider dumans “magic swordsmen.”
* They have high ATK and TEC, however their DEF suffers. Use of the urgent roll maneuver may prove very useful in gameplay.
* Duman character design is largely influenced by Western medieval times. The default male costume is based on a matador’s outfit while the female costume is based on a flamenco dancer’s clothing.
* The general duman image is that of a “dark hero,” which meshes well with the costume design.
* The racial ability of dumans is called “infinity blast.” This allows them to fortify the power of their weapons by concentrating the photons in their body for a powerful attack.
* There are four types of infinity blasts; one for each battle type.
* Infinity blast duration can be lengthened by performing chain attacks.
* While unable to use other blast types (I think they mean mirage blasts here), dumans can still utilize charge attacks.
* You can move about freely even after activating an infinity blast, allowing you to better position yourself for an ideal attack.
* So far, only the Hunter and Ranger infinity blasts have been shown officially, however Force and Vanguard blasts will be unveiled soon.

Ah! it comes out on my mom's birthday. Maybe I'll convince her to get it as a birthday present for... herself?

I'd love it if I had time to play it. ^^;

The rebirth system sounds fun.

I wonder if Olga Flow's going to be as "WTF EPIC" as it was in PSO...

"Nagisa's tummy is full of penises!" - If you recognize that, you need to get out more.

When Dumans were describes as "Magic Swordsman", I got an image of the class from FF5.

I was hoping the fifth class would be scalies. Then we'd have humans, elves, robots, furries, and scalies. X3

I would cry if they put Dark Falz in.

If they put the third form in, then I don't know what I would do.

Possible scalies, since they are mutant human SEEDs.
SEGA is going for equal opportunities you see
