I have the psvita 3.60 henkaku and the pfba version for ps vita and the 1,100 roms of the megadrive work perfectly for me.:hrth::bow:
Thanks @cpasjuste.

For such a wonderful emulator pfba, grateful.

i would be grateful if you can share your version of PFBA & tell me where you got those working roms from as i have tried everything even converting mega drive roms but no success,i only want to play space invaders the mega drive game

The psvita already bought it with all the emulators configured:hrth::grog:

@cpasjuste i know PFBA is not complete yet & still some work to be done like adding the missing other consoles games but your work is truly appreciated, your emulator makes consoles 10 times more fun & i can't wait for your updated emulator on the amazing PS Vita. :yaypsp:

Thank you @cpasjuste for the update

I think maybe we could alter the dip switch difficulty ourselves, if we could possibly map both the "test" and "service" buttons in the settings. What we really need is a key input for those two.

Also some games from the "Konami mystwarr.cpp" drivers such as violent storm, Gaiapolis etc seems to crash the switch. Can anyone else can confirm this?

link is dead
What link?

I think I added a combo for service/test mode in the past, maybe look at pFBA minimal doc on GitHub. Else I'll do that later. I'll also look at the games you are talking about.

I just tried violent storm and it works fine here :) Maybe a wrong set?
Edit: Gaiapolis working too.

Your gibit no longer has pfba. The link in first post to the github of PFBA

Btw I'm talking about the ps vita version.

Hi,

I've installed the latest version of this. I also have tried both the Complete Non-Merged FB Alpha v0.2.97.39 ROM set and Complete FinalBurn Neo set.

I am using SX OS ( latest version ) with on 9.1

When FinalBurnNeo loads it says in the bottom left hand corner "Games 4752/5782" or "Games 5502/5782" ( I might not be exact on the numbers ) depending on the rom set I try.. But then I cannot see any games at all in the navigation.

So it appears to be detecting my games but cannot load them? The funny thing is I don't even see a list of missing games... nothing.

Any advice?

EDIT: So PFBA 3.4 works fine. It seems to be an issue with 4.0.

Many thanks,

I suspect there might be an issue with recognising more than one ROM directory/path. I had numerous games in different folders and it didn't detect them, but put them all in the first listed folder and they all showed up.

Thanks. Yeah I only have the arcade roms copied across to my switch and they are in the first listed folder, so I don't think its that.

If you rebuild with the dat that was linked in the thread then you should be able to get the games to show. Not sure why it doesnt just recognise the official set.

I also had to change it to show only available games as there were several missing.

It's indeed based on fbneo official dat (xml), so I guess it's a path problem (I'll take a look later).

Can you post your non working config.cfg inside pFBA folder?
Also, are the roms listed red ? (Are you sure you set it to show available only?).

Finally, yes for now it just scan the first rom folder, this will be fixed soon.

Here is the right dats: https://github.com/libretro/FBNeo/tree/master/dats

Edit: Gaiapolis working too.

I tried the newer romset, still not working :(

could be that im using "SX OS" or still on firmware 8.1.0?

maybe "pfbn" is not using full ram with SX OS? is there anyway around it?

regards

I tested it on sx os and it's working too. I use "nx-hbloader" (I think) to load the Homebrew menu thought.
Edit: I tested with the latest sx os (not beta) and fw 9.01 emunand.

Hi @rsn8887 !

I did change the download links in prevision of the console support being added back (polishing...). So now here are the new names :
  • mixrbv2.zip > arcade_mixrbv2.zip
  • video.zip > arcade_video.zip
I also updated and added the download links to the pFBN README.MD, including the new name for your mirrors :D

Else, for everyone:
  • downloads links have also been updated on the release page
  • if you want to help (without programming skills, donation or such..) you can always contribute to make a better readme here! This is so boring to me, and will be much appreciated :)
