The second part of the Persona 2 saga will be released to PSP, Famitsu reveals this week. The magazine has a first look at Persona 2 Eternal Punishment, the followup to Persona 2 Innocent Sin. Following a remake of Innocent Sin, released in April of last year, Atlus will release the PSP remake of Eternal Punishment on May 17.
The PSP version will include new scenarios, improved load times, a new opening animation from Mad House, and the choice of original and refined background music. Shouji Meguro is directing the game. The new scenarios are from Tadashi Satomi, the original's scenario writer.

And with this, Persona 1-3 are available on PSP and all the Persona games will be playable on the Vita. And I'm surprised Japan is getting it so quickly, hopefully that means we get it not too far afterwards.

Yay! I love the Persona games, so it's cool news to me ^_^
I'm actually glad it's going to be on PSP and not the Vita =P
Though I can't wait for Persona 4 the Golden, and I will probably buy a VIta then just to play..

I'm still a bit annoyed due to the fact that Persona 3 Portable is in many significant ways inferior to FES. Regardless, the announcement of Eternal Punishment for the PSP is still good to hear.

Interesting question, though it does raise the question...

Will I be able to unlock the Eternal Reward as well?

This reminds me, I need to go back and finish Innocent Sin. Did not have a lot of time to expend on it ever since Skyward Sword and Skyrim, as well as Devil Survivor 2 now.
