We have the ands pdf reader for nds. Good work I must say, but its too weak. What I mean to say is that its too lame(No offence)
I tried a prima pokemon pokemon guide....it failed to work is there anything that is better than the ands?

There is a PDF reader which is slightly better, but it's only for DS2. It's lame too FYI.

The DS system is too weak to handle PDF's.

Well if u really want 2 read pdf(s) on your ds ,you can convert them from pdf to bmp, jpeg etc.Thats How i read mka fatalities

yeah, if it's a graphical .pdf, ANDS hates it to pieces. What I do is less than ideal, but it works. Convert it using PictoDS (instructions for making the program pdf friendly on their website), and read it on CBDS. There's some quality loss, but not enough to make things unreadable. Also, if the page count is over say, 200, you start getting a lot of slowdown.
