Lets put it this way. I can't get past the first fight with Ghirahim due to my waggle suckage. I'm told it's because I'm trying to play the game sitting down, and the Wii motion is expecting a wider range of movement than I'm giving it. Meh! So not happening.

I'll give Dolphin a shot. Thanks!
I was terrible when I first picked up skyward sword, i died about 10 times on the first boss an I even had to use a walk through to find out how to kill the gohmas in the first dungeon. But believe me you do get used to it pretty quickly after that. I would just say be persistent. You will get used to it

When you get Dolphin, make sure it's one of the newer AX-HLE audio builds; this emulates near-perfect audio without having to dump the DSP ROM.bin and while keeping it less taxing on the CPU.

I beat Skyward Sword sitting on my couch the whole time. Are you using an actual Wiimote plus, or an offbrand like the Nyko Wand +? Cuz those offbrand controllers suck, especially the ones with the motion plus built in. Nintendo's official controllers with motion plus built in get that shit done right though.

However, did you try looking for a cheat file with Accio Hacks (or the cheat downloader in cfg usb loader)? Some games have cheats that reconfigure waggle to buttons on a classic controller (pro) such as Donkey Kong Country Returns. I'm not sure if anyone ever did so for Skyward Sword (as personally I found those controls quite innovative and intuitive), but its worth checking out if you really are struggling to play the game.

Yes. I have 3 official wiimote+ controllers. (One of them came with the game).

I've never heard of Accio Hacks before. I'll have to look into it.
