ROM Hack Patching Pokemon for no RTC

i know i read somewhere how to do this but if someone could briefly guide me in the right direction i would be greatful.

i basically wish to patch ruby, sapphire, emerald, fire red, leaf green

i'm assuming they can all be patched

yes, they can all be patched to be played on devices with no RTC support. You can do the following:

- Download GBATA (http://www.gbadat.altervista.org/tools.htm). It has a RTC patching feature (Clock Fix tab) built-in. It is only for Ruby/Sapphire though. However it can also apply IPS patches. You can download "clock fix" IPS patches for the other pokemon games from here:

You're right larvi, my mistake. I've never played the Kanto games. I guess existing IPSs for FR/LG deal with the saving type, not really a problem unless he's using a very old flashcart.
