Homebrew Pasta CFW Freezes?

I've been trying to install Pasta CFW on my 2DS (9.2) using menuhax, and every time I just get a black screen. I tried it once more with an older version, and the application froze once I pressed the button. Am I doing something wrong here?
EDIT: I might add, I tried using CakesFW, but it froze on "Decrypting FIRM".

You opened it in sysnand, right? If so, reinstall it, I had the same issue.

I'm not here to tell you what to do, all I am going to say with my experiences with Pasta CFW is that it wouldn't load for me. I formatted everything and the SD card. Did everything from scratch again. It loaded correctly. Then I installed a couple games to my system with Pasta CFW and when I turned it back on..BRICKED. I now use reinand cfw. rxtools is great too. basically anything with an emunand feature. I personally would never use something that installs things to the actual sysnand..
