Hacking Passcard 3 and G6 Lite, how do they work?

Hi all,

Afaik, the passcard is a card to put in the slot on top of my DSlite and the G6 is to put in the bottom slot.

So when I turn on my DSLite, what will happen,

- It boots from the standard OS of the DSlite?
- I start the G6 lite?
- the passcard overrules some encrypted security of the game i want to start from the G6?

How does this work?

Without the passcard/superkey (or the flashme firmware) you cannot run any DS software from the G6.

When you start the DS with the passcard and G6 the DS shows the health & safety screen, but before it tells you to touch the screen it shows the passcard splash screen then goes into the G6 menu. You don't see the DS menu at all.

That depends on the version of the passcard/superkey. Some revisions boot to the DS menu and you have to run it as if it were a DS game. I wish mine did that so I did not have to eject the passcard or go through the G6 menu to access GBA mode directly.

My passcard (Passcard 4 on PCB) doesn't go through the part where it tells me to touch the screen. I have to do that myself and then it goes to the passcard splash screen.
