Have a question. Want to setup parental control android app but gives me an error on the switch. Ask me to update firmware.

Currently have SX OS 2.8, emunand on 8.1.0. System firmware is on a lower version.

Want to know if it's safe to update system firmware to the latest to be able to set up parental control app. Of course I would be using cfw all the time, but need this app to control my kids time use.

Thanks in advance.

Are you trying to setup the parental controls on the emuNAND or on the sysNAND? If you're setting it up on your emuNAND and your emuNAND is on 8.1.0, then it shouldn't be asking for an update.

I figured out that I needed to disable Stealth Mode in order to use parental control with the mobile app. So I decided not to use it since I think Nintendo will know I'm running cfw and backup games.

Or is it safe to use it while jot on stealth mode?

You should not connect to Nintendo's servers on a dirty NAND, or you will probably be banned.

Yeap. That's what Inthought and decided not to use the app and/or connect to the server. Will see if I can set a timer instead.

Thanks
