Thank you for reply, yes the arguments work 100%! I should have tested a little more thorough but sometimes the rabbit hole can be endless. :)

I have updated Wii64 plugins but will hold off distribution momentarily since there could possibly be another update soon?

Other updates and changes will be also be included. I have tested both GTA Vice City and Plants vs. Zombies ports and both working through WFL plugins. I have finished updating theme art and buttons for these additions while removing WiiStation Alt plugin from the main pack and moving it to the Extra pack.

There is also @cheloruiz79 Sega Saturn Z-GX port that could possibly get a plugin in the future. This would be beautiful but work is still to be done, hopefully when complete, it can be used as a plugin.

I believe I have stayed the course of what this plugins pack distribution was intended.

If anyone has anything to contribute, please post! I have made this very clear throughout the past few years and will continue to ask for suggestions to keep building.

Please keep in mind, removing plugins is not easy for me to do but needed in every case thus far. The latest removal (WiiStation Alt) was not being used by anyone most likely, 2 more plugins were added.

Lastly, the platform ini will be changed again to correspond with new additions and I will not offer an alternate. If you must use the old Shima theme, you will have to make changes manually since it will be outdated by at least 10 plugin inclusions.

With that out of the way, look for an update in the next couple days. :)
Thank you very much for putting so much time and dedication. Maybe it would be interesting to keep this in mind: https://github.com/nateynaate/mgba-gx

Thank you for the heads-up and link...:)

After testing mGBA-GX, it is in very good working order already! Wondering if @AlexM80 or anyone else has tested/used this emulator extensively and your thoughts?

I tested some heavy GBA games and Ultimate Winter Games seems like it is running at 60fps where Super Monkey Ball struggles at around 40-45 fps I am guessing, all tested without frameskip enabled.

In all it really is a nice new emulator and has some nice features some others do not. I have not tested in WFL through plugin but honestly don't think there will be any issues.

The problem we have (which is why the old original pack was cut down) is the plugin limitation of 255 and the more plugins installed, the slower WFL becomes to a point of losing stability.

We currently are at 201 plugins with recent additions and all 3 GB, GBC and GBA already have 5 active plugins apiece. I want to add these but do we go to 6 plugins apiece or remove an existing plugin from each? I propose to remove these ..

GB - mGBA standalone (we already have RA mGBA GB plugin included which has more features including Bezel support)

GBC - mGBA standalone ^^^Read Above^^^

GBA - mGBA Hexaeco (this is by far the slowest gba plugin included, it does has some nice features but the speed issue is hard to overlook.)

These are my thoughts, please join the conversation! :)

I checked the mGBA-GX repository a little while ago and noticed that it inherits the autoload code from VBA GX, so I think it should work perfectly fine as a WiiFlow plugin, although I haven't had the chance to test it yet.

There is also a dedicated GBAtemp thread for the project:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/mgba-gx-gba-gbc-gb-emulator-for-wii.683382/

As for possible candidates to remove, I would definitely drop mGBA Hexaeco. I've experienced frame drops with it, and on one occasion it also gave me problems with savestates. In fact, I removed it from my own build a couple of years ago and haven't really missed it since.

I'm not a frequent GBA-emulator player, but in case you're interested in checking/comparing systems, there is also the newly released and revamped VisualBoy Advance-GX.

Woooow! This thing is a spaceship!! It looks like Tantric has taken optimization to a whole new level. Thank you so much!!

@RunningSnakes may I suggest adding PAPwiiUM? It is a modified version of GenplusGx so I assume it should work as a plugin but haven't tried. Thanks for all your work on this!

Adding that it should still play anything supported by the official release so it could either replace the current genplus plugin or be added separately until the official version gets support for Paprium.
