Paper Mario TTYD 60fps patch?

1785/921/2400 is enough for consistent 60FPS on Mariko.
I'd assume 1785/921/1996 is probably good for slightly less consistent 60FPS on Erista.
Both with handheld visuals of course.

If someone (probably masagrator lol) makes a triple buffer patch FPS drops will be less severe and you could get away with slightly lower clocks.

I'm using 1224/844/2366 on Mariko OLED + Handheld. FPS around 59-60. Also as far as I know Masagrator is not interested on Mario games so idk if he would do a triple buffer patch.

Using 4k Resolution with the mod linked above, seems to have gotten rid of the annoying sharpening filter.
Everything looks smooth and detailed now.
Only problem is that it messes with the lighting when you enter a shop (and perhaps other areas).

Happens with the 1440p mod as well, though it doesn't appear quite as often. The shop for instance seems to lack this issue at 1440p, but I started to notice it in cutscenes with taller character sprites (like the Pianta mobsters and Grubba, someone also mentioned Hooktail too) when the camera zooms close in on them. So yeah you'll see it elsewhere too.
My guess is that there's a lighting effect that isn't scaling or aligning correctly. It affects both Yuzu and Ryujinx.

I'm playing on the 4K resolution mod on Ryujinx too and it looks so good with this mod, no more over sharpening - everything looks smooth and looks amazing. That over sharpening really ruins the game's look. Some of the 'side perspective' areas seem to be bugged as you said @Sentoryu - especially the store. But the Inn looks fine and is another one of those side perspective areas so maybe there's just a texture not scaling correctly in that store scene specifically, as @granville mentioned.

On Ryujinx the save blocks are black, same for coins when enemy drop them, their is a fix for that ? or need to wait emulator updates ?

Same still black for me, I'm keeping an eye on mods to see if any fix it but I don't see any that do yet. Maybe an emulator update will fix this too.

Anyone managed to get 60FPS working on Steam Deck with Ryujinx? I've tried the few in this thread but no success so far. They all just slow the game way down.

Can anyone else test if you move the save file from Ryujinx to Yuzu/Suyu after completing the black area in the tunnels that it then works on Suyu without the black. I did this and im not getting the black screen anymore. Im not sure if it will pop up again because im only in the town with the turtles.

Im on Steam Deck using the 60fps patch, and the 1920x1080 mod and the level of detail mod and everything is working and looking great for now. Im not even sure if you are supposed to use the res mod and detail mod at the same time?

Edit: I forgot to add that in desktop mode i got slow motion and bad framerate but it worked fine in gaming mode for some reason.

I can't get the 60fps mod on Ryujinx working good. It says 40ish fps but seems slow motion. On Suyu however it works good in game mode. It's running in the high 50s-60 with the graphics mods. I am having a crash when dealing with the battle master toad every time though.

So ... people are reporting this as a 60FPS mod issue and it's happening on 30FPS as well. Lmfao.

Btw, this report is: Chapter 2 - Puni AI seems to break and randomly get lost/stop following at times. Best to disable 60fps as soon as you have Punis following you.

Huh you're right. I hadn't noticed it.

This is the only bug I have found using the 60 FPS patch on Mariko, everything else works perfectly. Currently on Ch.3.

Sorry man im not sure. All i can say is mine ran bad in desktop mode and a lot better in gaming mode. Im not sure why but it just is.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why the LT + dpad cheats dont work for me on ryu? I have the 60fps mod enabled, it runs at 60, but I can’t toggle between 60 and 30 even with the cheat enabled in the ryu settings. Anybody have any ideas? Also I’m not sure if it’s the resolution mod or 60fps mod but one seems to slow my game down to around 40-ish fps and makes it really choppy randomly.
