Paper Mario TTYD 60fps patch?

I'm on a modded v2 switch (full oc); installed the ips patch from page 1. Menus are perfectly fine 60fps but it drops to a stable 30 during gameplay (with slowdown obviously). it's at 0% fan speed so I know it's not hitting a wall, performance-wise. I just started chapter 2 btw. Any ideas?
 
The game isn't even officially out yet and you're already asking for things as if the game has been out for 6 months lol.
Pretty set to be fair, more out of curiosity 'a' 60 fps patch dropped almost immediately and members have mentioned work is being done, so just checking in really.

I'm guessing this is expected behavior for the current patch? this is all new to me so I don't really know the details
 
I confirm this.

Anyway. Someone shared this in .pchtxt. I convert it to .ips and I'm testing it.

From what I've been reading, it also has problems (talking about emus).
Having a weird issue with this. On Ryujix on Steam Deck it seems to be running at half speed now?

On Steam Deck with Ryujix this seems to cause the game to run at half-speed. Anything obvious I might be doing wrong?

from what I'm seeing the 60fps patch, it makes it quite difficult to use power bounce lmao (or is it something they changed in this version)
 


60 FPS working perfectly on OC switch Mariko (though it's not powerful enough for the docked resolution).

Does the game work on Ryujinx without the black screen in tunnels? Having that issue with Yuza, and Suyu on Steam Deck.
 
Anyone having stuttering with the 60fps patch on the opening cutscene with an AMD card? The FPS doesn't drop but the cutscene just appears very stuttery, I'm on a 7900xtx and have tried multiple versions of Yuzu including latest stable and EA builds, also tried Ryujinx and it's the problem on everything. It works fine without the 60fps patch so it's related to that. I'm using the one StevensND linked in this thread.
