Cyberleek threatens to leak GTA VI build if crypto token hits $30M

The anonymous GTA VI leaker known as Cyberleek is now threatening to release a full playable build of Rockstar's upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI according to a statement posted on the leaker's website.

The catch: the build only goes out if the leaker's own crypto token, CYBERLEEK, reaches a market cap of 30 million.

Here's the deal, nice and clean. CYBERLEEK hits 30 million marketcap, the build goes out — full story mode, played to the end, credits and all. Don't believe it has full story mode? Ask for what you want to see, and it gets provided. Take-Two gets one way out: physical disks and a public apology. They can take it at any moment. Or they can gamble that CL is bluffing. Everyone knows which one they'll pick.

If the CYBERLEEK coin reaches a "30 million marketcap", the build will supposedly be released to the public. However, they offer Take-Two Interactive a supposed way out. The leaker says that if Rockstar change course and announce the sale of physical discs AND offer a public apology then they will withdraw their threat.

After months of silence, Cyberleek has again begun releasing more clips of the game including raw gameplay footage, first-person driving and NSFW scenes involving the protagonist fully nude.

Whether any of this is more than a bluff to pump more coin is anyone's guess however since their statement regarding the previous spate of leaks, Rockstar have remained silent on the matter.

Lol, go ahead and leak it. The actual fully working version is coming out on Nov 19th in all 30fps glory. I mean, I'm sure there'll be folks that want to put their hands on an unfinished PC version. But whatever, leak it for the lol. :teach:

what's better than a rug pull? 2 rug pulls! does he expect people will just forget what happened or something? or does he think just 'cause he has this supposed build of gta vi and that people want it bad enough that they'll do anything to get their hands on it?

Also another thing to consider, the hacker prob knows that gta vi will come to xcloud (it was announced recently) so he probably figured if he doesn't come up with some scheme asap as xcloud will certainly steal his thunder as people will be just content streaming it on their pcs/phones etc. and his precious build may become useless. There no explanation other than this, he doesn't give a shit about Rockstar, no disc release, and most importantly players otherwise he would've posted the build already for better or worse.

Didn't they do a rugpull the first time after promising that they would release more leaks if their crypto coin reached a certain value? If one fell for it the first time and still believes (by investing in their crypto) in this, you only have yourself to blame if the same thing happens again despite the GIANT RED FLAG waving right in your face.

This guy had a big chance but he let it cool off so much, that most of the people interested just don't care anymore. He dropped the ball.

Now, the only thing to do is to leak the build he claims to have, and stop all other bullshit.

but I agree, not good to be greedy or to profit off of the leak.
The part about saying he'll stop if it goes physical is cool, but not the $30 million.

Well their goal is money obviously. They are asking for it to reach a specific value so they can claim money. But they have no reason to not leak it after they get their money basically.

Only if it really is a PC build, it has never been stated by CL what version they really have. I know another group has claimed they have a Xbox Dev unit and a early build of the game on it. I can't imagine releasing an Xbox dev version of the game would do any good, since retail Xbox can't play backups.
I guess it could be a PS5 version even, since PS can play backups. Guess we all will just have to wait and see.

They've already tried to bluff Rockstar once with this and didn't follow through

Can almost guarantee, once this is out of consoles, the grift which switch to purely talk of releasing this as it's a pc version

Rockstar and TakeTwo definitely deserve to be punished, but this is clearly just a scam. It won't stop, even if the threshold were hit, I really doubt they'd release anyway

Cyberleek is just desperate and hungry for money, if he really cared about it he'd just release the damn game. Rockstar won't bother doing a disc release as the digital pre orders are doing extremely well.
